Dr. Duraiappa earned his dental degree from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 1998. After graduating, he completed a two-year oral surgery residency at Christian Medical College in Vellore, India. He then went on to Sree Balaji Dental College, where he lectured and supervised upper-level dental students and periodontics interns.

Dr. Duraiappa has practiced general dentistry in Minnesota since 2004. He owned his own private practice in St. Charles before moving to Marshall. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

In addition to the numerous Continuing Education courses he completes each year, Dr. Duraiappa has also received extensive training in cosmetic dentistry at the Hornbrook Group’s Center for Advanced Clinical Education. His years of training and experience bring a variety of leading edge cosmetic and restorative dental treatments to Dental Health Center, including Deep Bleaching™ and ClearCorrect™ invisible orthodontics.

Dr. Duraiappa lives in Marshall with his wife and three children. He believes that a lifetime of healthy smiles starts early, so when he’s not spending time with his family, he enjoys visiting local schools to educate students on the importance of good oral hygiene.
